What is a CSP?
The Certified Speaking Professional designation is the speaking industry’s international measure of speaking experience and skill. Less than 10% of speakers worldwide hold this professional designation. A CSP brings a proven track record of speaking experience and expertise.

How do we book Laurie?

If you already know the date of the event, you can check the live calendar to check Laurie’s availability.  Then call our office to discuss the specifics of your meeting.  Within 24 hours we will email a proposal with three program options to fit your needs.  When all the details of the engagements are agreed upon, a contract is signed and returned with a deposit.

Will you hold a date for us?
We are happy to place pencil holds on the calendar with no-obligation to you.  If another client becomes interested in that date, we will contact you for right of first refusal.  No deposit is required to hold dates.

Do you have a rate for non-profit organizations?
Yes.  All details of the event and specifics about the organization are taking into consideration when preparing your quote.

How much experience do you have?
I have been speaking since 1989 in the healthcare field.  In 1997, I opened the doors to my own professional speaking company, Career Café.  Since that time I have presented an average of 70 programs a year to a variety of industries.  I am proud to say that
100% of my clients confirmed I met or exceeded their objectives and expectations.  I am a full-time speaker with a focus on humorous keynotes and business mastery workshops.

What if I want to be a speaker?
Check out my article “How to Become a Professional Speaker” located under the article tab in this section of the website.  I receive many inquiries about coaching others in the business.  At this time, my speaking calendar does not allow time for this service.  However, I happy to provide a phone consultation to answer questions and point emerging speakers in the right direction.  Email your request and we will respond with a quote for this service.

What’s funny about your talks?
My humor is found in the stories, mannerisms and ad-lib reactions to crowd comments.  Audience members have often described me as genuine, down-to-earth, and easy to relate to both on and off the stage.  I am proud of these observations and feel this style is how we best connect with our audiences.

Is there anything else we should know about you?
At work, I am known for bringing creative, unique programs to the platform.  At home, I am known for bad cooking and endless talking, reason enough to earn a living on the road.
